cashew tree...wisdom

i planted a cashew tree. after a long time it bore cashews yesterday. the plant was fast growing upright and heading towards heaven till day before yestderday. but today it bears fruits... so what. yes..!! that is the change i observed; as the cashews started gain weight, the braches started to bow down to bend down. here is that lesson for me and for you, as you start acquiring knowledge and wisdom our heads also should bow down with humility and simplicity.

the prefixes before your name will not do any thing unless and untill you observe the simple peopples lives. here is the concrete reality for me and for you.

the other is a hell...! are really they?

'the other is a hell' somebody said by quoting the celebrated french philosopher Jean Paul Sartre. how the other becomes hell for Sartre?
because you and I are called to be models in front of others, that is to say when you do something, it should be perfect so much so the other will never get a bad example from you. we are living in a community, therefore, we are always asked to do only good deeds.
Meantime, what happens to me?
for me the other becomes a hell? i cannot do all the mischivious acts, becaus the other is watching you. in other words on the one hand the other is not really a hell, and on the
other hand the other is a mystery, the other is a project.
so let us respect the other...!!

Santa visits...!!

the christmas eve was marked with santas visit. all the team members along with santa visited most of the parishners. it was a wonderful experience. we met many people on the way. all were very happy and saying hello to santa, who was giving away some sweets and chocolates. but what invited my attention was, some of the poor children ( they are poor because they lacks some money) smiling, and they were so happy. with their innocent voice they proclaimed happy christmas.they waved their hands and said happy christmas, and they went back to their huts.

indeed, happiness should come from within. some people are having 'all things' but they lack happiness, on the other hand some other people are having nothing (in certain people's view) but they are so happy. let us go deep into the cave or our heart, let us go back to our original innocence. let us be happy...

christmas musings...!!

one more christmas... yet another new year...let us pause for a while... an introspection. let us dream new dreams, or you may passionately catch hold on your previous dream... do not forget to live at this moment, that is the present given to me and to you... so live, and celebrate life... love everyone, for' earth is the right place for love, I don't know where it is likely to go better' says the poet... let he say, let us live...let us celebrate...let us sing and dance...

Elladharu iru...

Parukka, the person who helps us to clean our house and its premises, quoting Kuvempu says, "Elladharu Iru, Enthadharu Iru, Enthenthigu Kannadavagiru..." means where ever you are, what ever you do, always be a kannadiga. we are called to absorb the good things that we encounter with. good is truth, good is real..

to will one thing...

we need a dream to cherish, we need somebody to love us, we need the Other.
Yes it is infront of the 'other' that we feel our existence. if there is no 'you' then there can in no way an 'I'. that is it. so we should care for the other. we shuold also realize that the other has the freedom to reject you, yes it is the vulnerable nature of any relationship that matter...
let us try to will one thing... let us start to live for the other, without loosing our individuality.

Jesus the philosopher...!!

Who is a philosopher? A person who holds on to a principle and even s/he is ready to die for that principle. Therefore Jesus is the greatest philosopher that the world has ever seen.
